If you are like me you are probably fairly distrustful of most online companies, especially those that promise anything totally unique. When it comes to something like telemarketing leads, which can’t be verified until used, it is especially important to stay vigilant in order to avoid scams. But there are a few things that you can do to make sure you get your money’s worth.
First, know what to look for. You will want to go with a company that is dedicated completely to phone lists, in order to ensure constant monitoring and new numbers. Do a Google search for something like ‘credit repair travel leads‘, which will take you to a site that has various types of lists.
Next, make sure they are offering hardcopy lists, and not emailed ones. While a digital list will reach you faster, it is harder to verify that the names and numbers are unique, and not being sold to more than one person. Having a list of names only you can use in a list, like sweepstakes lead, will increase your chances of making a sale.
Last, take the time to research the company. If they don’t have a money-back guarantee you may want to find someone else. They should also have various shipping options, or at least something that will get to you quickly.
Check fraud websites, like Ripoff Report, and make sure there are no open cases against the website or it’s owners. One or two sometimes happens with trustworthy companies, but too many black marks should warn you away.
